House Judiciary Committee Chairman Considering Cheney Impeachment Hearings

Every administration sets a historical precedent for the administrations that follow. If the criminal actions of the Vice President are not formally examined and rebuked by the Congress then those same actions will stand waiting in the shadows as these days too become history. The inherent danger is that they become the history of a time when the fact that no official steps were taken to stem, prevent or rebuff these actions can be touted as historical precedent allowing them to be taken again. We owe it to America’s future to see that we do all that we can to prevent such a possibility. We owe it to the future to undo what little we can of the damage we have already allowed to be inflicted upon The Constitution.

Please email Chairman John Conyers and other members of the House Judiciary Committee and encourage them to proceed.
