a country song

Am I the one who hit the lever
That kicked us into overdrive?
Am I the one who made you think
This was the reason to be alive?
Am I the one who made you think
All of your dreams had come true?
If I did I surely need to say
I’m sorry to do that to you.

I am a troubled soul
That walks a crooked road.
I am a crazy man alone on a hill
Watching history unfold.

It’s too soon to say I love you.
It’s too soon to say I do.
It’s too soon to talk of babies.
There are too many maybes
For me to sort through.

Did I create a place
Where you felt safe and warm?
Did I convince you you were truly
Sheltered from harm?
Did I open up so much
You thought that you had got in?
Then I’m sorry.
I’m so sorry.
I did it again.

It’s too soon to say I love you.
It’s too soon to say I do.
It’s too soon to talk of babies
There are too many maybes
For me to sort through.

So walk away if you can.
I won’t say I want you to go.
You could better spend your time
But please, baby, know
That it’s not that I don’t want to
And it’s not that I don’t care.
You’ve just got to see
That the truth of me
Is like life
Wholly unfair.

It’s too soon to say I love you.
It’s too soon to say I do.
It’s too soon to talk of babies
There are too many maybes
For me to sort through.

That doesn’t mean I won’t
And that doesn’t mean I don’t
And that doesn’t mean
You couldn’t break
My heart in two, but…

It’s too soon to say I love you.
It’s too soon to say I do.
It’s too soon to talk of babies
There are too many maybes
For me to sort through.
Oh, so many maybes
For me to sort through.
I’m crazy, baby
With all the maybes
I’m trying to sort through.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Considering Cheney Impeachment Hearings

Every administration sets a historical precedent for the administrations that follow. If the criminal actions of the Vice President are not formally examined and rebuked by the Congress then those same actions will stand waiting in the shadows as these days too become history. The inherent danger is that they become the history of a time when the fact that no official steps were taken to stem, prevent or rebuff these actions can be touted as historical precedent allowing them to be taken again. We owe it to America’s future to see that we do all that we can to prevent such a possibility. We owe it to the future to undo what little we can of the damage we have already allowed to be inflicted upon The Constitution.

Please email Chairman John Conyers and other members of the House Judiciary Committee and encourage them to proceed.

Blood Sucking Mercenary Bastards Must Die

KILL!
Checking a seldom used email account I realized I had missed the renewal for robdamnit.com. When I went to re-register it I discovered it had been bought by a resale company. The domain robdamnit.com cost me under $10 a year...

THESE FUCKERS WANT $200 TO SELL ME MY DOMAIN BACK!

I have since purchased robdamnit.net for two years at a cost of about $19.00, but the amount of work this is going to cause is huge. Not only dealing with the web site itself, the links and headers on LJ and BlogSpot, but all the images and products in my Cafe Press store need new or ammended images.

And thus... the killing shall begin.
