angst in five haikus
Disconnected from
The crackling ether siren
The air seems empty
Life is not online
People talk and laugh and sing
Why am I silent
Distance creates doubt
Silence fosters my worry
I need to relax
I can reach this far
Without my hand being met
Where are your fingers
We have history
This may not be destiny
Please tell me your dream
The crackling ether siren
The air seems empty
Life is not online
People talk and laugh and sing
Why am I silent
Distance creates doubt
Silence fosters my worry
I need to relax
I can reach this far
Without my hand being met
Where are your fingers
We have history
This may not be destiny
Please tell me your dream
