An open email to the Massachusetts State Senate
Dear Senators:
As a long-time resident of Boston and the surrounding metro area I am writing to you in support of Senate bill No. 1983 presented by Senator Tolman. In a city where many residents do not own cars and rely on public transportation exclusively it is often both an inconvenience and a financial hardship that the T does not run between the hours of 1:00 and 5:00 or sometimes 6:00 AM. While the return of the "Night Owl Program" is neither an optimal nor complete solution to this problem it is an important step in the right direction.
Best regards.
